The collage’s context stems from this post war atmosphere and impacts heavily upon post-modernism thinking. These were appropriate areas to explore in the present day. In this era of information, there is a bombardment of news stories, especially those concerning war. Thinkers like Berger and Sontag developed ideas on how to interpret these images. Although their writings focus of print media, the collage is concerned with digitally how we see not just other humans, but ourselves.
