Tiny metal islands

Tiny Metal Islands is a monologue of original writing, a small electronic composition, and video, about our ability to now be in space without the absense of technolgy. It was filmed in one location in Manchester, using an iPhone, exploring the details of one area, details that could be seen with the naked eye but are seemingly much more alluring through a phone screen. The video was created in response to Last And First Men, a video narrative about futurism and the human race, underscored by the Philarmonic orchestra. It it is micro-experiment of multi-layered digital narrative with music, made using basic equipment, independently. A new luxury of the digital world, that everything can be done in isolation.
